Apres brekkie at the cafe, time for sesh two.

Same spot, but wind was filling in a bit so paul rigged his 7.8m and Hyper-X up for some blasting, and I grabbed the Fly again, but tried it with Duke 5.9m (secretly hoping it'd fill in to 5.9m weather).

To be honest, it started out pretty marginal, and Paul wasn't best impressed. I was staying upwind fine, and even catching some waves closer in and getting some turns in on them.
Wind filled in a bit, and then a bit more ... Paul got some blasting action, and then I got the Fly planing .... and then the rest of the crew arrrived.
I reckoned there to be enough to try the Freewave 115 with my 5.9m (tho secretly wished I'd put the 6.4m on the Fly) ... so switched boards.
Blubbed a bit off the beach, but hooked into a gust and then had some fun blatting about on my FW115 and 5.9m while the rest were hooning about on big kit

Smiles everywhere .... then it eased back and the 5.9m wasnt enough so canned it. To be fair, forecast was for it to rain and go N-NW (offshore) and it looked like the rain was coming .... and I'd had two fun sessions so no need to get greedy.
